Pottery classes

We offer a range of pottery classes for those wishing to learn to throw a pot for the first time as well as those wanting to improve their skills.

All materials are provided as well as the glazing and firing of your finished pots.

Weekend Course

These are aimed at giving people an introduction to throwing or for improving skills. The weekend course consists of two sessions each lasting 2½ – 3 hours. These are held on Sat / Sun mornings from 10:00 – 13:00 or Sat / Sun afternoons from 14:00 – 17:00.

All students have their own wheel and what they make in the first session, they finish in the second one. Students choose a glaze, George glazes the pots and when they have been fired they are collected or sent to the student.

Weekend courses are taught in groups of four as I have four wheels allowing one per student and a voucher for a weekend course makes an ideal gift.

The total inclusive price for two half days is £95.00 per person.
